The Sierra Mar XCM mountain bike marathon returns for its second year with a demanding 100-kilometer championship course linking two of Jalisco’s most beloved destinations. Riders set off from the historic Pueblo Mágico of Mascota and cross the Sierra Madre Occidental through pine forests, rugged backcountry, and steep mountain ridges before dropping all the way down to the Puerto Vallarta coastline. It’s a true endurance challenge for competitors and an exciting chance for spectators to see the region’s dramatic mountain-to-ocean scenery.
